As someone who has worked in the travel industry for nearly three decades, I have witnessed its evolution through periods of growth, challenge, and profound change. When questions understandably arise about agency practices, advisor support, and traveler protections—I believe it is important for experienced voices to provide clarity, stability, and reassurance.
I founded Academy Travel Inc. in the late 1990s with a deep commitment to professionalism, integrity, and responsible leadership. Over the years, our agency has grown into a nationally recognized, Diamond-Level Disney EarMarked organization, supporting thousands of travelers and more than 3,000 independent advisors across the country.
I am also a proud member of EMTAC, the Walt Disney Travel Company’s EarMarked Advisory Panel, and have been a dedicated partner of Disney Destinations for decades. This role has allowed me to advocate for advisors and clients at the highest levels and to help uphold the standards that protect our industry and the travelers we serve.
Over the years I have heard from many travel advisors and clients who feel confused, concerned, or simply unsure of how current events may affect their travel plans or professional path. I want them to know this: you are not alone, and I am here to help.
